課程目標
本課程以生物化學及分子生物學為基礎,探討植物基因轉殖之理論、方法與應用方向,並闡述國際上轉殖植物 (transgenic plants) 之栽培、商業化現況及監督管理規範。本課程涵蓋植物組織培養(plant tissue culture)、代謝工程(metabolic engineering)及重組DNA技術 (recombinant DNA technology),並針對最新植物基因轉殖文獻進行導讀及評論。 
課程要求
To discuss in the theory, methods, and reality of plant gene transfer, and the
application of transgenic plants.
